    Owned and operated various rental properties and businesses including ownership of successful restaurants, lounges, printing, and multifamily rentals. Managed and consulted for large scale food and beverage operations at multiple locations.
  • 1984-1999 - Belmont Construction Co., Inc., New Orleans, Louisiana

    Owner/President (1992-1999)
    Purchased controlling interest in the corporation in 1992. Continued to specialize in single-family home construction. Branched out into development of raw land for subdivision and home renovations.

    Superintendent (1984-1992)
    Oversaw the construction of single-family homes in locations throughout the New Orleans metropolitan area. Supervised all Field Superintendents, ensured the primary job site functions of schedule, safety, quality control, and cost management, and, as an officer of the organization, facilitated general management of company issues including financial and management decisions. Constructed and operated the subdivision wastewater treatment plant. Functioned as lead project manager on the following major development projects:
    - Paris Oaks (60 homes)
    - Fairfield Plantation Oaks (200 homes)
    - River Road Estates (infrastructure)
    - Harahan Oaks (infrastructure)
    - Southlake Estates (20 homes)

    Superintendent
    Oversaw the construction of in ground swimming pools in locations throughout the New Orleans metropolitan area. Supervised construction sites including management of manpower and strict adherence to schedule and budget.

    Project Manager
    Oversaw the construction of 20 single-family homes in St. Rose, Louisiana. Assisted with upper management decisions pertaining to protocol for field personnel, and ensured complete compliance with quality standards.
